In the elaboration of this clinical case we will treat a 56-year-old male patient with a clinical picture of hypertensive crisis, delusional pictures, aggressive behavior for no reason and decreased muscle strength of the left upper limb (monoparesis). After performing a series of complementary tests and having obtained the results, he gives a confirmed clinical diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease. The general objective that I set for myself was to implement the nursing care process in a 56-year-old male patient with a diagnosis of cerebrovascular event. |

A nivel mundial es la segunda causa de muerte y ocupa el tercer lugar como factor causante de discapacidad. En nuestro país, este desorden es una de las primeras causas de mortalidad desde el año 1975. En la elaboración de este caso clínico trataremos a un paciente de sexo masculino de 56 años de edad con un cuadro clínico de ccrisis hipertensiva, cuadros delirantes acompañado de alucinaciones, conducta agresiva sin motivo alguno y disminución de la fuerza muscular del miembro superior izquierdo (monoparesia). Luego de realizarle una serie de exámenes complementarios y haber obtenido los resultados da para diagnóstico clínico confirmado de enfermedad cerebro vascular.
