| Résumé: | The present research work, whose results support the writing of this monograph, was carried out on the grounds of the Maria José 1 banana farm of the Dole multinational. Located in the canton of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos. Your geographical location UTM: X = 663818.81 E; Y = 9809888.43 S, it is 12 meters above sea level, it has a warm and humid climate with a temperature of 24.9 ° C, a precipitation of 1947 mm / year and 83% relative humidity. The information obtained was based on a bibliographic review of the work carried out in the field and in the area of packing in the banana crop to improve its yield and reduce the reduction of production. The deductive method was used to compare the information with the work carried out in the Maria José 1 farm. Among the factors that influence the production decline in the Maria José 1 farm are the old field defects, this corresponds to the work that people do to the cluster in its first weeks, on the farm the work that most affected was the latex stain caused by the field deflower, despite being an old latex on severe occasions they do not usually enter the packing plant process. In the defects by harvest, the mistreatment or the little care of the fruit is the biggest incident in the increase of the decrease, in this heading the workforce, work methodology and materials have to be the main factors for the increase of the decrease. Physiological defects usually occur in poor areas that have been affected by various factors, including lack of irrigation, flooding, and restricted area for fumigation of sigatoka, boundaries and plantations on the banks of the main canals. It is recommended to train in the work methodology the person in charge of carrying out the work of harvesting the fruit. Provide adequate work materials to workers in the field and packing plant area. Properly use the map of poor or sensitive areas to identify the fruit that comes with physiological problems in the field |
