Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | The following clinical case is about a 4-year-old female patient with Down Syndrome, who presented anus rectal malformation at birth, for which she underwent colostomy surgery, after the evolution of the patient referred to intestinal obstruction due to which was subjected to dilations, later the patient was referred to an anus reconstruction, and due to this problem he usually presents constipation for which he goes to the consultation to treat his condition. In the Anthropometric Assessment it presents weight height: P-2 dx Low weight, height age: P -3 dx low height, a body mass index of 14.81 kg / m2, vital signs: Pulse: 90 beats / min, Respiratory Rate: 19 breaths / min, Temperature: 36.5 ° C. In this case study, the Nutritional Assessment of the patient will be carried out through Anthropometric, Biochemical, Clinical and Dietary Indicators, where an adequate diet will be executed taking into account the medical condition that she presents, covering her nutritional requirements. Through nutritional counseling, awareness issues will be applied to the mother about the importance of a correct food intake that the girl should follow to correct the nutritional deficit that exists and thus be able to improve her lifestyle. |
