Тойм:The present case study was developed based on research carried out at the Sertec Computer Center located in the city of Babahoyo, in order to determine what are the reasons why sales levels have been declining for a long time; the qualitative methodology is one that allowed the interpretation of the data collected in this research. As all research must be supported by a sub-line of research, this is no exception, this case study is based on the production and competitiveness sub-line of research, but for a case study and due to the commercial nature of the investigated business, the choice was made for basing ourselves on the competitiveness sub-line since it is a purely commercial business. After an exhaustive study and investigation of all the problems that influence the decrease in sales levels of the Sertec Computer Center, the following results were obtained: the owner of the business in question does not apply any marketing technique, much less a sales technique On the other hand, there is the organizational culture that is not being fully applied, and lastly, that globalization is another delimiter of business income; These are the main problems that influence the income of the owner of the Computer Center and which were duly confirmed in this investigation
