Ամփոփում:Preeclampsia is a multifactorial disorder whose main cause is idiopathic and is one of the obstetric causes of maternal and fetal death. It is usually characterized by increased blood pressure, presence of proteinuria and 1 or more signs and symptoms of systemic damage. The lack of prediction or the early identification of this disorder make its prevention difficult. The present clinical case study is based on a 40-year-old multi-patient patient who went to the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital in Guaranda with high blood pressure, headache, epigastralgia and other symptoms and signs denoting Preeclampsia. In the mentioned hospital the concurrence of patients with hypertensive disorder in pregnancy is very common due to the deficiency in prenatal controls and the high risk factors presented by patients in the mountain communities, especially Simiatug patients.
