Regarding daily weight gain, T3 resulted in a significantly higher gain, with 6.13 kg in the fifth week, compared to other treatments. Feed conversion was also more efficient in the T3 group, reaching a conversion rate of 2.67 g/g, although differences among treatments were not statistically significant. Economically, T3 provided the best benefit/cost ratio, with a benefit of 1.26, indicating that higher levels of phytase supplementation not only improve productive performance but also economic profitability. The conclusions suggest that including phytase in the diet of pigs significantly enhances weight gain and feed conversion, with the 0.2% level being the most effective in both productive and economic terms. It is recommended to use this level of phytase to optimize efficiency in pig production and to conduct further studies under different climatic conditions to validate these results and adjust supplementation as needed.

Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con 12 cerdos de cruces Duroc x Pietrain y se evaluaron tres niveles de fitasa: 0, 1 % (T1), 0, 15 % (T2) y 0,2 % (T3), en comparación con un grupo control sin fitasa (T0). El estudio se realizó durante 35 días dentro de la etapa de crecimiento, y se analizaron las variables de consumo de alimento, ganancia diaria de peso, conversión alimenticia y relación beneficio/costo. Los resultados mostraron que, aunque no hubo diferencias significativas en el consumo de alimento entre los tratamientos, el nivel más alto de fitasa (T3) mostró el mayor consumo numérico de alimento. En cuanto a la ganancia diaria de peso, T3 resultó en una ganancia significativamente mayor, con 6.13 kg en la quinta semana, en comparación con los otros tratamientos. La conversión alimenticia también fue más eficiente en el grupo T3, alcanzando una conversión de 2.67 g/g, aunque las diferencias entre tratamientos no fueron estadísticamente significativas. Desde una perspectiva económica, el T3 ofreció la mejor relación beneficio/costo, con un beneficio de 1.26, lo que indica que la suplementación con fitasa en niveles más altos no solo mejora el rendimiento productivo sino también la rentabilidad económica. Las conclusiones sugieren que la inclusión de fitasa en la dieta de cerdos mejora significativamente la ganancia de peso y la conversión alimenticia, siendo el nivel 2 % el más efectivo en términos productivos y económicos.
