The objective of the surveys is to identify the cultural characteristics of the Montubia community and evaluate the interest of the inhabitants in the preservation of their cultural heritage through a museum. The creation of a Montubio ethnographic museum in Los Ríos is a viable and beneficial proposal for the Rios community. This project has the potential to strengthen the Montubio cultural identity, also ensure the transmission of its legacy to future generations, promote cultural development and educational in the province. The museum is conceived as a space dedicated to documenting, conserving and exhibiting key elements of local culture, such as agricultural practices, the Montubio rodeo and ancestral archaeological remains. The implementation of this project would promote cultural tourism in the Province, generating a positive impact on the local economy, promoting cultural and educational development in the region. |

El estudio emplea un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando un diseño no experimental y de tipo exploratorio, para poder recolectar los datos necesarios, a través de la aplicación de encuestas a una muestra de 384 residentes de la provincia de Los Ríos. El objetivo de las encuestas es identificar las características culturales de la comunidad montubia y evaluar el interés de los habitantes en la preservación de su patrimonio cultural a través de un museo. La creación de un museo etnográfico montubio en Los Ríos es una propuesta viable y beneficiosa para la comunidad riosense, este proyecto tiene el potencial de fortalecer la identidad cultural montubia, también asegurar la transmisión de su legado a las futuras generaciones, promover el desarrollo cultural y educativo en la provincia. El museo se plantea como un espacio dedicado a documentar, conservar y exhibir elementos clave de la cultura local, como las prácticas agrícolas, el rodeo montubio y los vestigios arqueológicos ancestrales.
