| Sumario: | Merchandising strategies are techniques that are applied to all types of businesses regardless of their size or activity. The fundamental thing is to be committed to what will be done to solve the different problems that may arise due to the lack of a good sales strategy and to achieve customer loyalty within the company. Therefore, the objective of this case study is the merchandising strategies in the METALVAN hardware store in the Vinces canton. With the development of the theoretical, methodological foundations that exist on the strategies of merchandising, marketing, market positioning, sales, profitability and through the application of qualitative research, documentary techniques, experimental with the instruments of the survey directed to the clients. And the interview with the manager of the hardware store, it will be possible to make a better interpretation of the situation. In the conclusions, it is stated that for the development and application of merchandising strategies, it must be committed to each process that must be fulfilled in order to achieve the established objectives, in such a way that the needs of consumers can be met since they are the essential part of any company. In addition, it will be possible to maintain a competitive advantage within the market, which will allow the company to have a good profitability and at the same time that the collaborators feel safe and motivated given that they will have job stability. |
