Among the main symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis we have a productive cough of more than 15 days, night sweats, weight loss, fever, chills, among other symptoms that vary from person to person. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a disease that is easy to diagnose, with a direct smear examination of the expectoration (sputum), it is the most practical, simple and quick confirmation technique, and can confirm between 65% and 80% of cases of tuberculosis, in addition to this a standard chest X-ray is also performed.
