For which, a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapeutic scheme was carried out on the patient so that she regains her emotional stability, enjoys good self-esteem and mental health in general. This was carried out through a therapeutic scheme from the cognitive behavioral approach and it is established so that the patient, with the help of a professional, can carry it out through the sessions. |

This was carried out through a therapeutic scheme from the cognitive behavioral approach and it is established so that the patient, with the help of a professional, can carry it out through the sessions.En el presente caso de estudio se trató el tema Conflicto familiar y su influencia en la depresión en un adulto de 68 años de edad del cantón Buena Fe, provincia de los Ríos, del cual se pudo recopilar los datos necesarios para su elaboración, a través de entrevistas e instrumento psicológico como el Inventario de Depresión de Beck, que se le realizó a la paciente, cuyo resultado obtenido fue trastorno depresivo leve. Cabe recalcar que los conflictos familiares muchas veces ocasionan ciertos trastornos, como es el caso de la depresión que conlleva una serie de concepciones negativas de sí mismo, del mundo y del futuro. Para lo cual, se efectuó en la paciente un esquema psicoterapéutico de corte cognitivo conductual para que retome su estabilidad emocional, goce de buena autoestima y salud mental en general.
