This clinical case was developed at the General Guasmo Sur hospital and the nursing care process was applied in a 58-year-old male patient with a medical diagnosis of Gangrena de Fornier. The patient enters through the emergency area of the hospital institution; In the first instance, the rigorous medical interview is carried out in which the user reports having abdominal pain irradiated to the pelvic area; no family history expresses having chronic alcoholism for three years and at the time of physical examination there is pain on palpation at the level of hypogastrium; He presents a fever and there is evidence of injury with the presence of gangrenous tissue at the testicular level, due to the results obtained by the medical staff ordering complementary laboratory tests and his immediate admission to the hospital in the area of internal medicine. The present nursing care process is based on the theory of basic human needs of Virginia Henderson in order to solve the patient's health problems, through a nursing care plan and constant patient monitoring.
