Sumari:This case study focuses on the administrative management of Farmacia Sana Sana, located in Cantón Babahoyo and operated by ECONOFARM S.A. since 2000. The research aims to evaluate the efficiency of the current administrative system, inventory control, and customer satisfaction, with the goal of identifying areas for improvement and proposing recommendations to optimize the pharmacy's operations. Through a survey of 384 individuals, data was collected on perceptions of administrative efficiency, adequacy of inventory control, and quality of customer service. The results indicate that while there is a general perception of efficiency, significant deficiencies in task coordination and inventory systems affect medication availability. Additionally, there are notable areas for improvement in staff training and customer service. The analysis of the collected data revealed that the inventory control system requires a thorough review to avoid stock shortages or excesses. Staff training needs to be more specific and continuous to improve both administrative management and service quality. Recommendations include optimizing administrative procedures by implementing modern techniques and feedback systems, updating the inventory control system with advanced technologies and regular audits, and strengthening staff training programs focused on communication and problem-solving skills. These actions are essential for enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, ensuring the sustained success of the pharmacy.
