সংক্ষিপ্ত:Traditionally, decision making in dental institutions, both in the size of the clinical activity and in the administrative field, has responded to a derived arbitrary criterion, in the majority of cases, the experience and training gained at the universities. First, given by trial and error in the approach to some aspects related to the Organization and management of institutions providing services of oral health, leaving aside, sometimes by ignorance and others by inability to perform them, the administrative functions of planning and control, essential for a comprehensive and effective organizational development. The second, which is reflected in clinical decisions related to both the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the Stomatognathic system, as well as those necessary for the formulation and implementation of public policies in oral health.
