SUMMARY The experimental work was carried out at the Experimental Farm "San Pablo", Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo located at km 7½ of the Babahoyo - Montalvo road, with geographical coordinates of 79032 'west longitude and 1049' South latitude. The area presents a humid tropical climate, height with 8 m.s.n.m., average annual precipitation of 2329 mm, relative humidity of 82% and an average annual temperature of 25 ° C. Seed material of the variety INIAP 15 was used as seed material, with several doses Of coformulated herbicide Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam. Treatments based on Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) were studied in doses of 0.7; 0.8; 0.9; 1.0 and 1.2 L / ha; Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam in doses of 0.5 + 0.5 L / ha and an absolute control (no application). We used the experimental design of Completely Random Blocks with seven treatments and three replicates. The comparison of the averages was tabulated using the Tukey test at 95% probability. During the development of the crop, soil analysis, soil preparation, sowing, weed control, phytosanitary control, fertilization, irrigation and harvesting were carried out. To estimate the effects of the treatments, toxicity index and weed control data were taken at 7 - 14 - 21 days after herbicide application, days at flowering, days at maturity, plant height at harvest, Number of pots / m2, number of panicles / m2, panicle length, number of full grains and panicles, weight of one thousand grains, grain - straw ratio, crop yield and economic analysis. From the results, it was determined that the toxicity index reported values of little damage at 7 days, disappearing at 14 and 21 days after application of the products; Weed control, with application of Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) at doses of 0.8 L / ha from 7 to 21 days after the application of the products was excellent or very good; Treatments that were applied herbicides flourished in less days, while the control treatment (without application of products) delayed maturing; The highest plant height, panicle length, tillers and panicles / m2 was presented with the application of Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) at doses of 0.7 L / ha; The grain - straw ratio was above average with the use of Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) in doses of 1.0 L / ha, while the highest weight of 1000 grains was with Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) in doses of 0.9 L / ha and the highest yield of the crop was presented with the application of Topshot (Cyhalofop butyl + Penoxsulam) in doses of 1.2 L / ha. |
