Summary:The present case study was developed a research where the methodological approach method was used, which allowed the interpretation of the results obtained, in which the interview technique was used, the same that was applied through a structured questionnaire to the owner of the Commercial "Alcívar" and a survey applied to a group of customers of the commercial, the main activity of the business is the purchase and sale of staple products, refrigerated products, fruits and vegetables and various household items, refrigerated products, fruits and vegetables and various household items, the commercial in question is located in the Tres Postes precinct of the Jujan canton, the main objective of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the level of sales of the commercial, and that have led to the loss, to the dissatisfaction of customers, this research is based on the line of research: Financial, administrative, tax, audit, control management, likewise, being a purely commercial business where sales levels, consumer satisfaction and market competitiveness will be evidenced, it is linked to the marketing and commercialization sub-line of research. After an exhaustive study and investigation of all the factors that influence the sales level of the Alcívar store, the following results were obtained: the owner of the store in question does not apply any type of marketing and sales strategies that help boost sales, in addition to the dissatisfaction of customers with the quality of the products has led the business to have a low level of sales and above all the high competitiveness that exists in the area, those are the main factors that influence the daily income of the store and which were duly confirmed in this research.
