| Sažetak: | The research carried out at the Nicolás Cotto Infante Hospital in Canton Vinces, has allowed us to determine the main problem presented by patients with dyslipidemia at an age of 35 to 50 years, and is food consumption, which is why the general objective is to identify the relationship that exists between food consumption with dyslipidemia. The approach presented by the research project is quantitative, because it analyzes the frequency of food consumption, biochemical values such as cholesterol and triglycerides. By applying the frequency of consumption it was determined that the majority of the population has a very frequent indicator of saturated fats with 69% and processed foods with 49%, while foods that are healthy and provide a nutritional contribution , such as fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts and nuts, present infrequently. Regarding the prevalence of dyslipidemia in the sample of 80 patients, it was determined that hypercholesterolemia is higher in females with 68% while hypertriglyceridemia is higher in males with 33%, in terms of mixed major dyslipidemia in the female sex with 28%. The research methodology used is constituted, by the analytical and deductive method, applied, descriptive, cross-sectional research was also applied, as a type of research, all through the use of techniques and instruments such as the survey, registration form, registration form questions and registration matrix. It is concluded that a statistically significant relationship was found between the study variables. |
