Therefore, an approach focused on psychoeducation and how to manage the process of marital dissolution for the child was carried out. |

Therefore, an approach focused on psychoeducation and how to manage the process of marital dissolution for the child was carried out.En este estudio de caso se detalla a un niño de 5 años que reside en la cuidad de Babahoyo que después de experimentar una disolución conyugal de sus padres de qué manera incide aquella situación para presentar síntomas de Trastorno de ansiedad por separación. Se identificó que el paciente presentaba una sintomatología significativa de ansiedad y como estos afectan negativamente en su proceso de vida. Con los conocimientos adquiridos se logró trabajar en los distintos componentes que desencadenan como es el área conductual, el área afectiva, el área cognitiva y el somático. Así se consigue que esta paciente se exponga al miedo y logre superarlo así mismo disminuir los síntomas. para la recolección de datos importantes se aplicó varias pruebas psicométricas como lo es el test de HTP y Escala de ansiedad para niños de Spence (SCAS) siendo un apoyo para constatar la frecuencia e intensidad que se presentan los síntomas con respecto al trastorno.
