Shrnutí:Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy increased by 10.92% in 30 years, with an incidence that increased from 16.30 to 18.08 million cases and 27,830 deaths. In Latin America, the incidence and mortality rate are 329 and 420 per 100,000 people, respectively. They are conditions that can affect the course of pregnancy and cause the death of the mother and baby. The range of these diseases goes from chronic hypertension to eclampsia. Nurses are essential in treating hypertensive disorders and other pregnancy conditions, standing out in prevention and health promotion. Nurses stand out for their clinical and critical judgment, which is reflected in the identification of human responses and the development of nursing diagnoses and interventions. The aim of the research is to determine nursing care in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders in the gynecology area of the IESS General Hospital, Babahoyo during the period November 2023 - April 2024. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, and field, 150 pregnant patients treated in the gynecology area of the IESS General Hospital in the city of Babahoyo and 7 members of the nursing staff were used during the period November 2023 - April 2024. The result was that nursing interventions are fulfilled in 100% of cases; Furthermore, the main associated risk factors were maternal history of hypertensive disorders, previous pregnancies, overweight, and consumption of harmful substances.
