It should be noted that Hawaiian papaya is exported in our country to the United States, as it is an appetizing fruit with multiple vitamin benefits, which promotes its consumption internationally, which generates a source of income for most papaya producers. It can be noted that the Hawaiian papaya is a widely consumed fruit, due to its nutritional, medicinal and digestive properties; Fruit in Ecuador is a challenge for producers in terms of marketing, due to current marketing chains and the demands of international markets. It has multiple benefits of cultivation that can be mentioned: The fruit can be produced throughout the year, with various characteristics for export, regarding its size, color and flavor; the price varies in the national market, without product requirements, unlike the international market whose prices and quality are very demanding; Papaya production is an alternative crop for farmers, who are mostly entrepreneurs, where they can take advantage of their land, infrastructure and the various market conditions for its sale, and in the domestic market the most used marketing channel is of producer-retailer-consumers.
