Proceso de atención de enfermería en adulto joven de 23 años de edad con diagnostico traumatismo cráneo encefálico.

This descriptive research was carried out at the IESS hospital, which aims to establish the nursing care process in a 23-year-old young adult diagnosed with traumatic brain injury; This being so relevant today because they are caused by traffic accidents triggering this pathology that causes a strong impact that the brain receives when colliding with the walls or bones of the skull, which can have various physical and neuropsychological consequences for a long time. TBI has a high mortality rate not only in Ecuador but in many countries in the region. It is economic, especially in the field of emergency services, since patients and/or their families spend on hospitals and medicines to restore the person's health. When applying the nursing care process, know the clinical manifestations and risk factors that led to these injuries and thus proceed with the interventions through the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomy along with the assessment through the patterns. Of the theorist Marjory Gordon, managing to obtain and provide the nursing diagnosis with good service in an effective, efficient manner.
