總結:SUMMARY The sector of Febres-Cordero, is however a region that embraces the territory of the canton Babahoyo, in which concentrate big agricultural resources for the country, it contrasts with the drop dynamic economic present, associated to the presence of very low social indicators. The area of "Río Chico " it is located in the north sector of the study area, located in the latitude 1º23'16" South and in the longitude 79º 26' 32" West, with an altitude averages of 27 meters of the level of the sea. The objective of this investigation was to determine the sostenibilidad of the production in three properties producers in the environment of the family agriculture. Three UPA's of agricultural production was investigated and they were distributed in serial spacing with DATUM PSD 94. For the determination of the sostenibilidad the main IGS was used, with the mensuration of dialogue of knowledge, shops of the future, observations and direct mensurations, you interview and informal interviews with the peasants, an analysis FODA and the evaluation of the sustentabilidad. The results determined the developed methodology it allowed to either evaluate through indicators, the agricultural properties in a quick, simple way and participativa the sostenibilidad comparing the evolution of oneself through the time, or comparing two or more properties under different handlings or transition states. It is also evidenced that of the three properties the property 1 are the near one to reach the sostenibilidad. With regard to the rest of the properties the values were superior because in this system they are carried out the works of floor preparation with minimum traction, it is applied organic matter and the fertilizers that are used they are biological, a bigger genetic diversity exists in the place, there are rotations of cultivations, the policultivos use and associations it is bigger.
