Aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente de 60 años de edad que presenta traumatismo craneoencefálico en el área de emergencia del Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús

The present clinical case is intended to publicize the nursing care process in users with craniocerebral trauma in the emergency area of the Sacred Heart De Jesus Hospital of Quevedo, several nursing diagnoses were used to apply the necessary care according to the patient severity chart and thus achieve a good nursing diagnosis. This case is focused on analyzing the most relevant aspects in an elderly person, who has been affected by a trauma at the level of the skull and lacerations in his body, after having suffered an accident on his motorcycle for being driving in an ethyl state and without Having adequate protection (helmet), he was welcomed by the ambulance and taken to the hospital to the intermediate care area, where he arrives in a deep coma, unconscious and with a 3-point Glasgow scale and shortly proceeds to place an endotracheal tube and connect to a mechanical fan and thus be able to maintain their vital signs, while the procedures are being carried out to refer you to another higher level hospital. Once all the medical and nursing care and interventions have been carried out, he is transferred to the city of Guayaquil by ambulance accompanied by resident doctor and paramedical personnel, in case of any unforeseen events that may occur. Patient is received by the medical team of the specialty hospital Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón.
