description The field of exotic fruits is currently growing due to its great potential, however, it requires care to ensure quality production. Soursop is one of the best known tropical fruits in the country, is widely consumed for its medicinal benefits, high nutritional value and the amount of food obtained from its use. The main production sectors are located in the Peninsula of Santa Elena and Guayas, however, there are several areas of the country where it grows endemically, giving it the popularity attributed to it. The present research work was carried out with the objective of optimizing the production of soursop through the application of micronutrients (Zinc, Manganese and Boron) important for the nutrition of the plantations. The evidence of the improvement of the crop by the nutritional contribution is determined by the size of the fruit, quantity of aborted flowers and time of fruit formation. It is clear from the research literature that the use of micronutrients: Zinc, manganese and boron in the cultivation of soursop plants result in positive effects on it, since these micronutrients either separately or together contribute to photosynthesis, flowering, plant development and fruit production, in turn perform an adequate control of nutrition that is being carried out in the plant from its initial stage, it is necessary since the deficiency or excess of these micronutrients would have a detrimental effect on the development of plants and therefore the fruit.
