| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | The research was carried out in the City of Windows UE where the absence of reading techniques in the development of the learning process was identified as a problematic context. Therefore, the following research question is posed: What is the influence of reading techniques on the student's academic performance? with the purpose of establishing the main research findings. Reason for which, in the case study, it was established as a general objective to establish the influence of reading techniques on the academic performance of students in the 7th year of basic general education. The techniques applied were the survey, direct observation and interview, where it was identified that the teacher does not consider the use of reading techniques frequently in the learning processes, which influences the student not to develop reflective thinking, read with fluency and adequately interpret the content of the reading. In conclusion, it is defined that the weak application of reading techniques influences the academic performance of students and limits the obtaining of advantages such as: improving text comprehension, greater concentration, learning to identify expressions or ideas. |
