description Anaplasma is an obligate gram-negative pleomorphic intracellular bacterium that specifically affects platelets in dogs and is transmitted primarily through the tick vector. It is of utmost importance as owners of a pet, in this case dogs, to have knowledge of different aspects that can affect the health of both the animal and its owners in the environment that develops and of all those risk factors, diagnoses, symptoms, treatment. . and prevention that they should have against diseases such as Anaplasmosis. The objective of this research is to determine the presence of Anaplasmosis in dogs treated at the “Pet's House” Veterinary Clinic in the canton of Vinces, Province of Los Ríos, using Test/PCR Test: CHW Ag/Anaplasma Ab/E. canis Ab/Lyme Ab Test Kit, in a sample of 30 canes. The type of research is descriptive, non-parametric, the results obtained are shown through graphs and iconography, which detail in percentage terms the results obtained on the variables evaluated according to age, sex and race. The final result regarding the presence of Anaplasmosis in the canine patients treated is that there is a 63.33% incidence, that is, of the 30 samples taken, 19 of them are infected. In conclusion, this research allows us to visualize a current state of knowledge of Anaplasmosis cases and their incidence, which is why it gives pause to continue carrying out research that allows us to improve the approach to how to diagnose and treat affected patients.
