A patient was admitted with second-degree burns caused by hot broth referred by the mother who accompanied him at the time of the emergency. The objective of this clinical case was to develop an individualized care plan for the older infant with second degree burns. Carrying out cephalocaudal and functional pattern assessment of the patient by Marjory Gordon and thus taking the affected patterns as a starting point from the hand of nursing interventions in relation to NANDA, NIC and NOC, evaluating the efficacy of certain interventions. |

Este estudio de caso trata de un lactante adulto, mismo que acudió por el área de emergencia del “HOSPITAL GENERAL IESS BABAHOYO” paciente ingresa con quemaduras de segundo grado causadas por caldo caliente referido por la madre quien lo acompaña al momento de la emergencia. El objetivo de este caso clínico fué desarrollar un plan de cuidados individualizado en el lactante mayor con quemaduras de segundo grado.
