Se crea una cibercultura donde se promueven estilos de vida, formas de pensar, de actuar, de relacionarse, más aún si se considera lo indispensable que se ha convertido para los jóvenes el ser partícipe de esta nueva forma de vinculación social, en la que dan a conocer su vida cotidiana y sus formas de entretenimiento. El ciberacoso conceptuado como hostigamiento entre iguales haciendo uso de las redes sociales o telemáticas, incluyendo chantaje, humillación, insultos y burla.
