description VII. SUMMARY The present work was carried out in the sheds located in the lands of the Farm "San Pablo", belonging to the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Technical University Babahoyo; located in the kilometer 7.5 of the road Babahoyo-Montalvo of the Province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. The geographical coordinates are 79º 32 west longitude and 01º 47" 49" south latitude, at an altitude of 7 meters above sea level. As a general objective it was proposed to determine the feed conversion rate in the fattening of female broilers of lines Ross 308 and Cobb 500 in dry season under the environmental conditions of the road Montalvo - province of Los Rios having as specific objectives: Evaluate the effect of feed on weight, consumption and feed conversion in the production of two lines of female broilers chickens. To determine the effect of increased densities on the fattening of female broilers. Analyze Cost Benefit. The weights, consumption and feed conversion were evaluated, with respect to Cobb 500 and Ross 308 lines, feed presentation and densities 12, 13, 14 chickens / m2 . The statistical analysis of the data was carried out in the statistical package SPSS version 23, a multiple variance analysis was carried out applying the criterion of parsimony or parquity until only the effects of statistically significant results were left. The experimental unit consisted of 25 animals. The data will be analyzed by means of a multiple variance analysis and an analysis of covariance with interactions. The trial lasted 42 consecutive days where the three stages of poultry production were carried out. Based on the results the line factor there are significant differences in weeks 2, 4, 5 and 6, in all of them, Ross 308 has averages higher than Coob 500 in amounts of 24.8, 103.4, 203 and 358.8g with increasing trend. The pellet feeding always presented higher averages in all the weeks for the weekly weight variable, the estimated averages were: 219.8, 512.5, 977.1, 1457.5, 2093.0 and 2599.5 g. and the flour averages are lower 1.5, 59.6, 103.6, 121.6, 189.7 and 170 g in chronological order of the weeks. With respect to the economic analysis the density 12 chickens / m2 with pellet feeding system for both the Ross and Cobb lines are the most favorable because it shows a lower outflow and a higher income. Key words: Ross 308 and Cobb 500 lines, weight, consumption, conversion, densities 12, 13, 14 chickens/m2.
