| Sumari: | The Pininos kids Child Development Center in the city of Babahoyo is an institution created with the main objective of achieving integral development in the fields of motor, affective partner, intellectual communication and language, in girls and boys under 5 years of age, through quality educational processes, taking into account cultural diversity, gender equity and inclusion, as well as special educational needs. Diarrheal diseases mainly affect children's age, as a consequence of inadequate hygienic and nutritional habits in the home, due to the lack of knowledge and skills in the face of the disease. The present work is focused on implementing a program aimed at mothers, with the purpose of promoting self-care through an educational intervention and establishing knowledge about the risk factors that influence the increase of diarrheal diseases, the research modality it is of a mixed type since it uses paradigms such as quantitative and qualitative, in addition the survey of mothers of family was used as research instruments, whereas in the qualitative paradigm it was applied in the analysis and interpretation of the results that were obtained from the surveys, the methodology used was of a descriptive type since it allowed to identify the causes and risk factors that originate this pathology, in which it was determined that ignorance of the mothers of family is the fundamental risk factor for the appearance of diarrheal disease. It was also possible to determine that the majority of mothers of children under 5 years of age have a low level of educational and economic education, and they have a high level of ignorance about the factors of irrigation that influence the increase of diarrheal diseases. |
