Streszczenie:Gamification is nothing more than a learning tool that seeks to adequately transfer the mechanics of computer games to the academic environment, by taking advantage of the innate characteristics of this type of resource to improve the learning processes of students. The current educational context faces a significant challenge in the search for methods that promote effective and meaningful learning among students. During the time we conducted our pre-professional practices in the educational unit “Ecuador” in the parish of La Union, located in the rural area of Babahoyo, it was observed that the classroom environment presents a lack of knowledge of the use of technological tools such as gamification that influence the educational process. Therefore, this research process is focused on determining the impact of methodological strategies based on gamification in the teaching-learning process of middle school students in the Educational Unit “Ecuador” of the parish of La Union. It should be mentioned that this research not only has academic relevance by addressing a contemporary issue in education, but also has significant practical implications to improve the educational process in specific contexts. This research work will be carried out with a quantitative methodological approach to objectively measure the impact of gamification strategies in the teaching-learning process of middle school students of the “Ecuador” Educational Unit of the parish of La Unión. The present work is framed in a descriptive research, in addition to a correlational scope, since it seeks to identify and analyze the relationship between two or more variables, in this case, the methodological strategies based on gamification and the teaching-learning process.
