As far as the instruments were applied mainly the Family Climate Scale (FES) and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) for the evaluation of a 21-year-old university student from the city of Quevedo. The results found that the patient has a mean trend in the FES and obtained a score of 39 points in BDI, finally it could be concluded that if there is a relationship between conflicting intrafamilial relations and the major depressive disorder of the patient. |

The results found that the patient has a mean trend in the FES and obtained a score of 39 points in BDI, finally it could be concluded that if there is a relationship between conflicting intrafamilial relations and the major depressive disorder of the patient.El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo determinar la incidencia de las relaciones intrafamiliares en los episodios depresivos en una estudiante de la carrera de Física de la Universidad Yachay Tech, en el cual se plantearon propósitos como conceptualizar acerca de las relaciones intrafamiliares y los episodios depresivos mediante recopilación bibliográfica de autores que realizaron estudios sobre las temáticas, un segundo objetivo fue determinar mediante diversos instrumentos de recolección de información la calidad de las relaciones intrafamiliares y el estado de ánimo en la paciente, por último se pretendió establecer resultados a partir de los apartados teórico y metodológico referente a la incidencia de las variables. Esta investigación es de tipo correlacional, no experimental y cuenta con un enfoque mixto. En cuanto los instrumentos se aplicaron principalmente la Escala de Clima Familiar (FES) y el Inventario de Depresión de Beck (BDI) para la evaluación de una estudiante universitaria de 21 años de edad y oriunda de la ciudad de Quevedo.
