Achoimre:Ectopic pregnancy is the abnormal growth and nesting of the fertilized egg outside the endometrial cavity, that is, outside the uterus. It is considered a serious health problem due to the negative consequences it has on the body of the woman who suffers from it. If not diagnosed in time, it can have serious consequences and even lead to maternal death. Ectopic pregnancies can result from a variety of risk conditions. Intrauterine device use, smoking, previous ectopic pregnancies, tubal surgical procedures, age, intercourse before the age of 18, and promiscuity are the most important. The overall objective of the clinical case study is to determine the complications of ectopic pregnancy. A patient with this pathology was selected using the diagnostic methodology, evaluating her physical symptoms, assessing the results of laboratory tests and performing a transvaginal ultrasound by which a differential diagnosis was projected in which a surgical treatment of exploratory laparotomy plus cuneiform resection of the left ovary was performed.
