Its clinical characteristic is hoarseness, barking cough, inspiratory stridor, respiratory distress. Its incidence is higher in children between 3 month and 5 years. The resolution of symptoms occurs over a period of 48 hours or more with almost complete recovery. The present case study has the general objective of providing a comprehensive nursing care plan with responsibility and human quality in a 6-month-old male patient with acute laryngotracheobronchitis (Croup) through the application of ECP through of the NANDA, NIC and NOC taxonomies. |
