El objetivo es determinar como la homofobia influye en la salud mental de la paciente, Se enfoca en la línea de investigación de la salud integral y sus factores físicos, mentales y sociales, así como en la sub-línea de sexualidad, género, sociedad y cultura. La homofobia es un tema controvertido y de interés público en todo el mundo., la homofobia puede tener un impacto negativo en la salud mental de las personas, lo que puede llevar a problemas como baja autoestima, mismo que llevó a un trastorno del estado de ánimo, se realizaron entrevistas y pruebas psicológicas para demostrar los efectos de la homofobia en la salud mental de la joven. La estructura del documento incluye una introducción, un desarrollo que aborda la justificación, sustento teórico, técnicas aplicadas, situaciones detectadas, soluciones planteadas, resultados obtenidos, conclusiones, bibliografías y anexos.
