Sumari:The present clinical case analyzes a patient with a clinical picture of intense abdominal pelvic pain plus vaginal bleeding for more than 48 hours of evolution, for which she was admitted to the Baba Basic Hospital, complementary tests are performed to diagnose the uterine fibroid, being that this pathology causes deterioration of both physical and emotional health. Uterine fibroids or leiomyomas are benign tumors that grow in the woman's womb (uterus), their shape, location and size is variable. According to its location it is classified as submucosal, intramural and subserosal, it can affect women between 25 and 50 years of age, in Ecuador its incidence comprises 30 to 50% of women affected by this pathology. The objective, therefore, is to determine the process of nursing care in adult patients with uterine fibroids, with this to be able to help restore their real and potential problems that are evident during the assessment, thus choosing the correct nursing interventions and ensuring the prompt recovery of the patient.
