Резюме:The present clinical case is based on the 16-year-old patient, with HIV-AIDS (virological and immune to antiretroviral failure) plus psychological disorder, who goes to the child's hospital, Dr. Francisco Icaza Bustamante of the city of Guayaquil, for presenting persistence, respiratory distress with oxygen saturation of 92%, fever, mild jaundice, loss of adipose tissue, therapeutic failure to antiretroviral drugs due to malabsorption of the same, in addition to suffering from behavioral disorders. The chosen treatment must be interdisciplinary in which it includes the specialties of psychiatry, nutrition, nursing that allows contributing to the prompt recovery of the patient. An investigation was carried out in different bibliographical sources with subjects related to the disease, in order to have clear and specific concepts, to know with the determination of the pathology in the way that contributes with the knowledge of the cause and the power to apply the processes correct from the infirmary. They were used as an interview research method, collecting objective and subjective data through the evaluation as a physical examination and complementary tests, which were analyzed and organized to identify the problems that interfere in the health and well-being of the patient. The care plan was developed and executed in order to contribute to the patient's early recovery, as in the Nursing Care Process (PAE).
