Shrnutí:This paper presents the nutritional status of a 15-year-old Ecuadorian adolescent with hemiplegia because throughout his youth he had an accident in a river in the sector where he lived where he was practically immobile taken to a health house he had complications with the swallowing of food since he began to have a low weight where his diagnosis was spinal hemiplegia. Throughout his treatment he presented a picture of dysphagia where he hinders and puts at risk his nutritional status since his diet is not adequate. In the present study, the following pathologies were identified as spinal hemiplegia, dysphagia causing nutritional risk since their diet is affected. A nutritional action plan was made to facilitate the swallowing process with food since this way we can avoid malnutrition in the patient.
