The patient presented discomfort such as headache, red eye symptoms, loss of visual acuity, when analyzing the results, congenital astigmatism was determined. This has caused an increase in prescription because the patient does not like the use of the glasses. |

Razón por la cual es importante corregir los defectos ópticos que presenta con el fin de preservar su salud visual. Con el fin de realizar un diagnóstico acertado se le realizaron diversas pruebas y exámenes como retinoscopía, la prueba de Donders, biomicroscopía, reflejo de Bruckner, y el análisis de los datos de la paciente. La paciente presentaba molestias como cefalea, síntomas de ojo rojo, pérdida de agudeza visual, al realizar el análisis de los resultados se determina astigmatismo mixto.
