Logística en la agencia Urbano Express, en la ciudad de Babahoyo, periodo 2024.

Urbano Express is a company specialised in the distribution and delivery of shipments in the region. The main focus of this research is to identify and evaluate the efficiency of the logistics operations within the company, with particular emphasis on the processes of receiving, transporting, and delivering packages. Through the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data, as well as interviews with key personnel and direct observation, the various links in the logistics chain and the challenges related to product routing and delivery times are analysed. The study also addresses the difficulties affecting the company’s performance, such as resource shortages, inadequate route planning, and time management. The analysis results will allow for the formulation of recommendations and proposals to improve logistics management, aiming to optimise the use of resources, reduce operational costs, and, most importantly, enhance customer satisfaction. This study aims not only to offer practical solutions for Urbano Express, but also to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the logistics sector in the city of Babahoyo. By implementing the proposed improvements, Urbano Express is expected to establish itself as a key player in the local market, providing efficient and high-quality service.
