Summary:In a world that changes rapidly, education faces the challenge of responding to the new needs that arise in a globalized society, in which ICTs are setting up new learning scenarios. The main objective of this research work is to analyze how the use of the Nearpod virtual platform affects the autonomous learning of students in the unified high school of the “Rey David” Babahoyo Canton. This challenge that teachers face implies a constant renewal and investigation of the various tools offered on the web and that have a vast didactic and attractive content that favors much more the perception and dedication of students facilitating learning in the same. It is imperative that virtual education be established, therefore, the teacher's profile, developed and perfected by various designs, for autonomous learning development. This project seeks to optimize education in society that we live where the student and technology cannot go their separate ways since one depends on the other and vice versa, there is an intrinsic conjugation between the two for an autonomous development of learning giving as a result, new knowledge and skills that will benefit the student, the teacher, and the technology as it will feed on useful information for any other user.
