Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | This present study in a clinical case is focused on the health status of an 80-year-old male patient who presents a clinical picture characterized by respiratory distress, a progressive decrease in physical activity, and refers to having a persistent 7-day cough evolution, he undergoes complementary tests and once the results are obtained he is diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The realization of this clinical case is based on recognizing COPD as a disease of great importance for public health due to its high mortality rate, since to date it is the most frequent pathology in adulthood worldwide, so It is important to identify the risk of suffering from this disease and what the results would be in a person's life. The fundamental objective of our clinical case is to identify the clinical manifestations of COPD in the patient and administer an appropriate treatment. At the end of this study, it is concluded that smoking control is the fundamental basis for trying to alleviate the patient's symptoms. |
