Identificación de los principales insectos plagas y su método de control que se presentan en el cultivo de piña (Ananas comosus)

The objective of this research work is to study the analysis of pest insects that occur in the Ananas comosus pineapple crop, with the specific objective of determining what are the main damages caused by pest insects in pineapple cultivation, which will also seek the most viable alternatives for integrated pest management for pineapple cultivation. The problem of pests dates back thousands of years, human beings have faced them with different natural control methods, which today are rarely used, and with scientific advances, chemical pesticides prove to be more effective, easier to apply and economic at the time of its use, however, indiscriminate use generates a chain of damage to the ecosystem, it is for them that one must be trained for its use. It is proposed to investigate and collect information on the importance of pineapple, the main pest insects, life cycle, damage to the crop and alternatives for control methods.
