Riassunto:The present clinical case aims to raise awareness of the nursing care process in patients with a diagnosis of bilateral ovarian cyst, belonging to the Enrique Ponce Luque maternal and child center. Within gynecological conditions this is one of the most frequent since some women may have ovarian cysts at any time in their life, the same that may be of different types. Most ovarian cysts have no symptoms. The existence of an ovarian cyst is likely not to be noticed unless there is a problem that causes the growth of the cyst or the formation of multiple cysts. About 8% of women in the premenopausal stage usually develop large cysts that need treatment, these are less frequent after menopause. Women in the postmenopausal stage who have ovarian cysts have an increased risk of ovarian cancer. A medical evaluation is necessary if you have symptoms such as frequent urination, pelvic pain or unusual vaginal bleeding. These could indicate the presence of cysts or some other serious problem.
