| Samenvatting: | Introduction: This research project describes how nursing care influences in improving the quality of life of eutocic postpartum patients, since care focused on the recovery of patients effectively contributes to this process by helping to the mother in this new stage of life. Objective: to analyze how nursing care influences the improvement of the quality of life of eutocic postpartum women treated at the Martín Icaza hospital in the Babahoyo canton period from May to September 2019. Methodology: a descriptive, observational study of the graduates and nursing assistants who work in the postpartum area at the Martin Icaza hospital in the Babahoyo canton will be carried out from May to September 2019 with a ours of 15 people in which they will be used an observation guide about the work of nursing staff and the application of a survey to obtain the required information. Results: As a most relevant result, it is reflected that 100% of the nursing staff consider that the lack of personnel has a considerable influence when providing quality care, this being one of the most predominant factors in which nursing care cannot be provided optimally. Another of the considerable results 67% of the nursing staff indicates that they are interested in meeting the needs of their patients, in order to provide comfort to improve their recovery, while 33% indicated that due to the lack of existing staff, They do not have enough time to provide all the comfort and convenience to meet all their needs, so only sometimes you can meet them. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a considerable lack of personnel in the area of maternity, therefore it constitutes a determining factor when satisfying the needs of the patients, triggering that there is little improvement in the quality of life of the patients. |
