Sumari: | Chronic renal failure is increasingly a public health problem of great importance, in general, cases are widely associated with risk factors such as obesity, nephrotoxicity, exposure to chemicals, occupation, residence and among others, showing high prevalence rates in hemodialysis centers. The objective is to analyze how risk factors influence the development of chronic renal failure in patients of the DIAL-RIOS hemodialysis unit. For this project the type of non-experimental, transversal and descriptive research was used, using the analysis-synthesis and inductive-deductive method, the random non-probabilistic sampling type was used, having 80 patients as sample. Obtaining the results of the study sample, the most common causes are: arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus type II, among the risk factors that were found were, the masculine gender, advanced age, rural residence, exposure to chemicals and the economic level low, which in turn were the most prevalent in the study sample. In conclusion, risk factors that significantly affect the development of chronic renal failure, patients who have been exposed to chemicals, live in rural areas and have low economic status, are those who have been more likely to develop renal failure chronicle. |
