Summary:This case study aims to establish the influence that family relationships have on the depression of a girl with HIV. The case is developed from the arrival of a patient referred by the psychologist of the Department of Student Counseling (DECE) of an Educational Unit, for presenting sadness, focusing without encouragement to do something, also presents a chronic disease which is considered code blue (HIV); for that, the pertinent psychological evaluation and the scientific and theoretical study of the variables were carried out. In addition to the collection of information, techniques such as medical history, interview and psychometric tests were used, which allowed the case to progress, a structural diagnosis was reached which helped to establish a personalized therapeutic scheme with structural goals to meet and In this way, the symptomatology presented by the intervened person is reduced, which presents a major depressive condition.
