Estudio del control biométrico para el registro de asistencia del personal administrativo de la Facultad de Administración Finanzas e Informática

In the last months of this year of the Faculty of Administration, Finance and Informatics of the Technical University of Babahoyo, the administrative staff to enter their daily tasks have had problems registering their attendance at the moment of placing their fingerprint on the biometric clock . At one point the administration staff did not notice the situation since it is something that they do on a daily basis, some of them did not notice the fault that this device presents, until they verified that attendance and departure were not recorded sometimes, which became a problem of greater, that is why it is intended to carry out this research project. When the staff arrives at the institution they must mark their fingerprint in this device that currently presents anomaly at the time of attendance, does not receive the impression of part of the staff of the faculty, must put one to three times the thumb, some Sometimes attendance is not recorded, and an effective record of attendance can not be obtained, this causes problems and discomforts in the administration staff. The research process was based on the population of 11 people who make up the administrative part of the faculty during the months of March to June of this year, which were subject to the techniques of this research to collect data, which made it possible to continue with the project.
