Riassunto:When mentioning innovation or technology in the agricultural field, it is considered to be the way to improve the productivity of small and medium-sized farmers. Ruzzante et al. conceptualize agricultural technology as a term used to describe certain kinds of tools such as genetic material, agricultural techniques, and agricultural inputs; which in turn are developed for agricultural improvements. The entire agricultural sector of the country has been transformed into a very solid industrial structure, and to strengthen economic cohesion new technologies have been introduced to increase productivity, and everything is visualized with the new agricultural techniques incorporated with the results obtained from institutions dedicated to agricultural research. Integrated crop management is considered as a transfer of technologies. In the production of papaya, the incorporation of the following activities are a response to the implementation of weed control technologies. The acquisition of knowledge and continuous training is essential for the improvement in the productivity of agricultural crops; for the technicalization of producers' practices is essential for the socio-economic activity of a region. According to research carried out in the northern part of the province of Los Ríos, training for papaya producers on issues related to agricultural technology is implemented through linkages by the State Technical University of Quevedo and Private Companies. The use of certified seeds is not their speciality, as they grow recycled seeds. The installation of yellow polypropylene sheets is a common practice for the capture of the fruit fly, and the use of mechanization and technological infrastructure is not implemented.
