To make the diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis, the patient's history is analyzed, the clinical picture presented by the patients, and complementary tests are performed, such as chest X-ray and computerized axial tomography. The present clinical case established in a 74-year-old female patient, who goes to the emergency area of the "IESS Babahoyo General Hospital" referring to present. Unquantified thermal rise, dyspnea, dry cough of 12 days of evolution and which worsens at night, loss of appetite, muscle and joint pain, fatigue, also presents deformation in the fingers of the hands (clubbing). The main objective of this clinical case was to determine the appropriate treatment for a 74-year-old female patient diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.

Los signos y síntomas principales de esta enfermedad son la disnea, tos seca, acropaquías, dolor muscular y articular, fatiga pérdida de peso. Para realizar el diagnóstico de la fibrosis pulmonar se analizan los antecedentes del paciente, el cuadro clínico que presenta los pacientes, y se realizan pruebas complementarias, como radiografía de tórax y tomografía axial computarizada. El presente estudio establecido en la intervención del terapista respiratorio en paciente de sexo femenino de 74 años de edad, la cual acude al área de emergencia del “Hospital General IESS Babahoyo” refiriendo presentar. Alza térmica no cuantificada, disnea, tos seca de 12 días de evolución y la cual se agudiza por las noches, pérdida de apetito, dolor muscular y articular, cansancio, además presenta deformación en los de dedos de las manos (acropaquías).
