In this case, they worked with cognitive behavioral therapy, in order to be able to modify their negative thoughts for more positive ones, reviewing the symptoms of each affected area, reaffirming the most appropriate technique for the problem they have. A psychometric test was applied, which is the Hamilton Depression Scale, with this applied test it helped me to control and verify the level of depression of the patient and the symptoms that he is presenting. |

A psychometric test was applied, which is the Hamilton Depression Scale, with this applied test it helped me to control and verify the level of depression of the patient and the symptoms that he is presenting.Este estudio se basa principalmente en el problema de una paciente de 50 años de edad de la ciudad de Machala que es diagnosticada de insuficiencia renal Crónica, motivo de esta enfermedad catastrófica su salud mental se vio comprometida generando en ella depresión, la paciente se ha encontrado muy mal desde que fue diagnosticada hace aproximadamente 3 años atrás, incluso hay veces que se siente tan desanimada que deja de asistir a su tratamiento de diálisis en el hospital, el cual la mantiene estable con su enfermedad. En este caso se trabajó con la terapia cognitivo conductual, para así poder ir modificando sus pensamientos negativos por unos más positivos, revisando los síntomas de cada área afectada se generó la técnica más adecuada para el problema que se tenga.
